MECANO ID
For more than 20 years, MECANO ID provides engineering support services for space telecommunication payloads. To date, it has supported more than 30 satellites (in Europe, North America and Middle East). The support is made of mechanical and thermal engineering and testing in addition to RF management traditionally drive by customers or partners.
The activities performed by MECANO ID are engineering phase management, payload accommodation, coax and waveguide routing, mechanical & thermal analysis and prediction, flexible waveguide characterization, standardization studies, panel drilling, supporting brackets, and route cards for integration.
MECANO ID carried out, on behalf of CNES, the development, sizing, manufacture and qualification of the payload of the Argos 4 localization system intended for monitoring the environment and animal species.
MECANO ID develop and provides specific products dedicated to telecom payloads such as composite horns, radome or supporting brackets.
